A non-vital mandibular molar is asymptomatic. On examination there is a small pimple-like stoma on the attached gingiva that intermittently drains pus; a gutta-percha cone traced to the apex of this tooth. What is the most likely diagnosis?

Five things built for the general dentist.

Every plan opens everything. These are the five that matter most for this exam, shown the way you’ll meet them.

1Practice papers

Twelve practice papers of 200

The real paper is 500 questions, 400 of them scored. Our practice papers are 200 items. Every item is tagged to the JCNDE Domain of Dentistry, so your score is reported area by area. 2,220 original questions in all, counted once.

2Explanations

Every wrong answer gets its own reason

Each explanation says why the right answer is right and why each distractor fails — the exact line you would want if you had picked it. Every item is checked blind by a second AI model that never sees the key. This one is a real item from the On-level 1 form.

ON-LEVEL 1DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT PLANNING & ORAL RADIOLOGYMEDIUM FORM

A panoramic radiograph shows the anterior teeth appearing narrowed and blurred.

This most likely indicates the patient was positioned:

A
Too far forward in the focal trough, anterior to the grooveCorrect (A): when the patient is positioned too far forward (anterior to the focal trough), the anterior teeth sit closer to the receptor and appear NARROWED and blurred.
B
Too far back in the focal trough, posterior to the groovePositioning too far back magnifies and widens the anterior teeth, the opposite change.
C
With the chin tipped too high, elevating the occlusal planeA chin-up position changes the occlusal-plane curvature, not anterior tooth width.
D
With the midsagittal plane rotated toward the receptor sideMidsagittal rotation causes left-right asymmetry, not symmetric narrowing.
3Axon Live

A tutor who asks what you do first — and why

Say what you are stuck on, out loud. Axon teaches the section in the voice of the integrated national board dental exam (JCNDE), draws the reasoning on a board as it speaks, and quizzes you on it before it moves on. It knows your syllabus, your weak spots and where you left off.

  • Teach me, Quiz me, I’ll listen, Why I missed it, Cram
  • Fifteen free minutes to meet it, once; top up in packs after that
  • Every session leaves a recap you can reopen

Questions

Before you start

Is the full mock two days?

The real INBDE is 500 questions over two days in six sections of 105 minutes. Our twelve practice papers are 200 items each; the full mock draws 500 from all of them in one sitting. Image-based radiograph items are not included yet — radiographic findings are described in words.

Is there a score?

JCNDE reports pass or fail; a candidate who fails is told their scale score, where 75 is the minimum to pass on a 49–99 scale. A scale score is not a percentage. SynkMind’s readiness estimate is its own, not JCNDE’s.

Are these real exam questions?

No. Every item is original, written to the public content outline and checked blind by a second AI model that never sees the key. Nothing is copied from a published form, and we are not affiliated with any examining board.

How does the free day work?

Create an account and everything opens for one day — forms, lectures, Axon’s free minutes. No card. Keep it from $49 a month.

I have an access code. What do I do?

Create your account, open the course, and enter the code in Billing & Subscription or on the plan screen. A code opens the product without a subscription.
